If you’re electric car is running low, head to the closest charging station using the app and charge it. You can use the fast charge facility to charge to 80% within 30 mins.

If you run out of charge while out on the road, follow these steps:

  1. Find a Safe Location: Pull over to a safe location as soon as possible. This could be a roadside shoulder, a parking lot, or a nearby charging station if available.
  2. Activate Hazard Lights: Turn on your hazard lights to make your vehicle more visible to other drivers, especially if you’re stopped on the side of the road.
  3. Assess the Situation: Check your vehicle’s display or dashboard to see if there is any available range or estimated distance you can travel. Some EVs may have a small reserve of battery power even when the displayed range is zero.
  4. Contact Assistance: If you have access to a roadside assistance service, contact them for help. They may be able to provide a tow to a nearby charging station or assist in other ways.
  5. Call for a Tow Truck: If you cannot reach a charging station or assistance service, you may need to call a tow truck to take your vehicle to the nearest charging station or your home.
  6. Use a Portable Charger: Some EVs come with portable chargers or “emergency chargers” that can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet. These chargers can provide a limited amount of charge to help you reach a nearby charging station. If you have such a charger, use it if you’re near a suitable outlet.
  7. Seek Help: If you’re near a residential area or business, you can inquire if anyone nearby has an electrical outlet where you can plug in your portable charger temporarily. Be sure to ask for permission and explain your situation.
  8. Plan Ahead: To avoid running out of charge in the future, plan your routes and charging stops carefully, especially for long trips
